  1. Today is the 2nd anniversary of my fathers passing and I am trying to dig up some old articles from his hay day to show my ol lady and son.

I am looking for a free site that has archived newspaper articles (redundancy ftw). Chicago in particular. I googled and looked through a few sites but no luck. Just wondering if anyone out there knows of any good sites or other options pertaining to getting archived material.

    Much appreciation.
  2. http://www.archive.org/

    This might have something.

  4. you should def contact libraries, they have old issues and microfiche/film. you could also contact the papers themselves to see if someone can do a search or if theyhave an archive section. I would assume most old stuff isn't online but they keep all the old stuff somewhere. not as easy and fun as online but maybe a live person could help. glglgl sorry for your loss
