I'm the manager of a bar and I was wondering if a live cam of the bar would be something yall would watch? Yay or nay?
-
privacy issues?
-
I think it would be pretty funny, especially if you could fix it for some way that the viewers could interact with the drunk people and get them to do shit.
-
Answering the OP, yes, absolutely.
-
Fuck privacy issues and most of our regs would love it. Not sure about interaction... BTW my bar will be featured on a sundance documentary in mid June. Google chef Ludo. He did a "POP up restaurant" in my home town of mobile, al and its a small documentary series
-
BTW, hey everyone, been a while. Bamablonde says hell also
-
bar brawl
-
I look at this bar cam(s) every time I wish I was in Key West, which is regularly.

No honey I wasn't at the bar tonight.
Yeah I was watching you, hitting on that blonde with the big tits. Pack your shit.
This is a great idea. Do it. -
Sounds like it could be fun, thered be some drunks playin up to the camera. My local has a camera wired up so people in the back bar can see the action in the front if theres a band playing and theres always a bit of, "hey look at me im on the TV!" very lol worthy.
-
I told my buddy he should do this 2 years ago. Point it at the dance floor/stage area. Maybe even have karaoke once a week.
-
whoa where is that 2nd place, looks sweeeeeeet
-
Yea i'd much rather sit home and watch people drinking and mingling in a bar than be in a bar myself. Wait, what?
-
Love me some Sloppy Reds

Ludo always comes off like a loser on tv.

I would think the cam would be a negative more than a positive. -
I'd watch from work everyday waiting for some drunk coed to flash the camera.
-
I mean it could provide entertainment given the setting of the bar and typical crowd are capable of doing crazy things and possibility of hot chicks flashing cams.
On another note, could be sweet for locals as well in determining if the bar is/isn't crowded enough for them to want to go on a given night. -
I spent at least 3 hours watching an empty water hole (saw birds once) one week. Yeah, I'm in.
-
people who are young and cant get into bars and are curious as to what they have to look forward to or loners or other people would probably want to watch it
-
Nein, I would not watch
-
i dont remember where it was, maybe ricks in ann arbor, or somewhere in madison. but one bar had a camera outside of the bar so that you could check and see what the line was like. can imagine that this would be a great addition and also great gimmick to bring some publicity to the bar.
-
if bama will be there...ima watching. ;)
-
i would watch
