cool story, bro.
-
Why is this funny? It's not like they took him during the 1st round of the actual draft. This is the 3rd round of a supplemental draft.
-
It means they give up a third round pick next year. He was projected to go in the 5th or 6th at best.

I'm assuming this QB has a cannon of an arm so he can throw really deep with no accuracy to a guy who runs really fast but can't catch. Nothing to see here.
It's so tough being a Raider fan but fuck I love them. -
He will clearly be starting by the 3rd week. I would cut myself if I were a Raider fan.
-
Meh, still doesn't seem like that bad of a deal. Only time will tell.
-
he was projected to go in the 4th
-
Slot reciever, wildcard
-
since the op sucks ill psot this.

they took him moreso to be a RECEIVER. SURPRISE. they took him 1 round too early (maybe). tho al davis is usually an idiot, this hardly warrants an all caps lol to him as i can think of wayyyyyyyyyyyy worse picks.
i hate you for some reason op.
good news for raiders fans tho, now they have 2 really friggin fast receivers that cant catch. and a qb who cant throw. id tell you to become 49ers fans but you guys seem to want to kill each other so nm -
Not a big deal.. third round for an athlete similar to the 1st overall pick.. He's definitely very raw at all positions and will take some time to develop if at all..But not too worried abt taking him a bit early. Raiders will be getting some high compensatory picks to make up for the loss of Asomugha and Miller...
-
So maybe 1 round too early but the Raiders didnt have a 4th next year so they took a gamble on a guy with alot of upside....BFD
But if Bellichek makes this move hes a fuckin genius
Fuck the Raider haters....you hate because you fear......... -
They will? I thought they lost them to Free Agency.

compared to some of Al Davis' other fuckups, this really isn't that big of a deal. That franchise needs a serious turn around and you now how good Ohio St QBs have been in the past
-
It wouldn't be too surprising if they recouped the 3rd round pick they just spent on Pryor. Carolina got a 3rd in this year's draft after Peppers signed w/ Chicago. I have a basic idea of how NFL compensatory picks work (service time, salary, plus a couple others) and I think Asomugha profiles pretty similarily to Peppers. As for Miller, probably a 4th or 5th.

What's a 3rd round pick when you're already going to suck balls anyways.
-
if your quarterback can't throw then who cares if your receivers can't catch, i say BRILLIANT!
