best thing about canada is theydont have the constant NBA talk nonsense. NHL all the time

trivia: Canada stopped printing one dollar bills and replaced them with a coin (loonie) 25yrs ago. Had no idea its been that long.
-
Yeah, but we've kept the penny for how long, now?
-
How do you give a Canadian stripper a dollar?
-
put it in the coin slot obv :)
-
pennies are pretty dumb imo but can you imagine the outrage that will be created when gov't decides that businesses have to round up or round down to the nearest nickle or dime. I think most people just drop them in the donation box anyways.

While our healthcare isn't technically "free", at least we don't have to worry about getting sick and losing our houses because of outrageous hospital bills, or the doctors throwing out part of your finger that you accidentally chopped off because you can't afford to pay 60k to get it reattached...

You don't enter zip if paying cash.
I can't believe people still think Canadians have "free" health care. That's like thinking Americans have free roads, police, etc. They're only "free" if you're a child, mentally handicapped, incarcerated or a worthless leech on society.

Hey Willywoo . . . no worries. It's all just BS across the back fence, y'know?

I know Canadians can drive from the East Coast to the West Coast without giving out postal codes. In the States, you pretty much have to know the secret handshake and do the chicken dance to get a couple of gallons of fuel.

Every Canada/USA thread has a picture of this bag of milk posted by Glo4m. I've lived in Canada for my entire 30 years and never seen one. Where exactly are bags of milk sold? Just curious.
-
They had milk in a bag in Ontario when I lived there, but have never seen one while living in BC. Must be an eastern thing to have bags of milk.

Every major grocery chain, sells milk in this manner, as well as the cartons, which they charge way more for. 3 bags per pkg = 4L (that's a ~ gallon to the non-metric types). Cannot believe groceries in Calgary do not sell these. Maybe it's a regional thing?
