  1. Buckner throws out the first pitch and gets an ovation, fickle mofos, he'd still be getting death threats had they not won 2 titles since then. Oh hey Bill, sorry about the hell you went through from 86-04, but hey it was just 18 years!
  2. hi DW
  3. lol.. I found that hiarious myself.... Side note: What the hell's going on with the tigers!
  4. real sawx fans <3 billy buck. guy played as hard for his team as anyone.

    edit:
  5. too bad real sox fans only make up like 10% of sox nation. The rest are bandwagoners and every frat kid in america.

  6. *waits for RonKarkovice to see this thread*
  7. You'd have to be an idiot no to cheer for the guy. He's been through enough.
  8. ya listening to some of the press conference after, i cant imagine the shit that hes had to deal with from fans and the media

  9. what's funny is when it went through his legs the winning run scored. some people believe around here that he fields it, steps on first, the sox win

  11. They brought him in the booth in like the 6th inning...The best part was when Youkilis hit a ball down the left field line which Jones couldn't catch up to, Buckner says something like "he should have had that ball". I was waiting for some laughter in the booth but I didn't hear any.
  12. So what type of fan are you?

sorry, i dont have anything to say to these fucking idiots who think they know something when their head is so far down their pants sucking their own cock that they cant pay any attention
  14. I agree. I dont get having him there to begin with.. And I never blamed him solely for losing that series.. So obv next year after the repeat im sure Bob Stanley will throw out the opening pitch.. He better not throw it from the mound though as he will probably bounce it.
  15. i am the type of fan who remembers that Buck kept playing even though his back was stiff like scha reading teen beat magazine, and that he knocked in 102 runs that year, and was part of the reason we were where we were, and that he wasn't on the mound like stanley, giving up the runs that ended up being capped by the ball thru the legs, and that that play didn't lose the series for the sox, just sent it to a seventh game. what type of fan are you?
