    For those too lazy to click on the link.. Utah is basically banning any daily drink specials so gg happy hour. How fucking ridiculous!

    Red lights should operate as stop signs whenever no other cars are in sight by default. Don't know why we are so conditioned as to believe we can't judge for ourselves when it is appropriate to proceed.

    This one in North Carolina.. I get the saving the money part but umm reduces repeat offenses? lmao So instead of going to state prison you are going to county jail and they think that is going to reduce repeat offenses? loooool

    More criminals convicted of misdemeanors will be housed in county jails rather than in state prisons to save money and reduce repeat offenses.

    those things are crazy. I liked the one about when scanning a dog for a microchip you have to see if it's wearing other forms of ID. LOL state employees, "hey Bob, that dog has on a collar" "I don't get paid to read tags, I just get paid to scan".

    The drinking laws here in Utah are soooooo ridiculous, I am surprised of how many alcoholics actually live here.

    I believe I read once that Utah was in the top 5 states of alcoholics per capita.

    Up until recently you couldn't walk into a tavern and order a beer unless you were a "member of the club." We still have the "Utah Slam Law" in effect as well. If you order a drink they can't serve it to you until you're finished with your last one. So slam that shit down! That's the kind of idiocy you get when your 5 member alcohol commission HAS to have at least 3 non drinkers.

    What? I knew this was true for turning onto one-way streets, but I can't imagine just going through a red light with a cop in sight and not getting a ticket, regardless of traffic.
