  5. HP Pavillon DV9000, 17" widescreen so good resolution for multiple games, and great mobile CPU/video card.
  6. actually i bought this one (dv9000), and thats the one thing i dont like about it, the resolution is terrible. only 1440x900 , my 15.4 inch dell had better than that

  7. I'm really cheap, but wanted a laptop...and I LOVE mine...I bought myself one and my daughter one from Overstock.com...the shipping is only a $1 on all their products and I bought one of the refurbished ones for around $400. We've had them over a year now and have never had a bit of trouble...ours are Dells and we bought the little cooling fan table that they sit on to keep the laptop cool from overheating from Overstock.com, on sale for around $15.

It's definitely worth checking their site out before you spend the $ on a new one. They do have new ones too I think.

I figure for what I paid I could buy 3 for the price of 1 new one.
  8. I have a VAIO and let me say, don't buy a VAIO.
  9. Any Mac laptop.

  12. Macbook Pro, you'll thank me later. You can install and run both Mac OS X and Windows on it because some poker sites still aren't mac compatible. Macs pwn.
