I have to do a personal research paper for an english class and I'm going to do it on internet gambling laws and how they coincide/affect online poker. Also why online poker has thrived in the states despite the current laws (up to this point obv) Does anyone know of good sources to use for my paper?

Maybe you should look up the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act! I really think this would be a good idea! I like to exclaim while I explain!

What El Burro said and make sure that your hypothesis includes the following quote:
"The US government and its backers [insert lobby name here] just rid themselves of nearly 100% of the available competition to a legal US poker network and are free to monopolize the US market. Fortunately the DOJ won't prosecute under anti-trust laws since this is a US government sanctioned network. The network will be established and running by 2014. Resistance is futile.- L2K4FC"
