Looking for Lap top Advise

    Hi guys, any help here would be great! I'm looking to buy a laptop, what do you guys use?..Of course I need something very fast to have 3-4 tables going at once, and the capability to watch movies and play games on??

    I'm trying to keep my budget under $1000 bucks. What should I get??

    Hey lilphil,

    I had to buy a new one the other day because my VAIO got a virus and I couldn't wait for them to fix it. I bought myself an ACER for 1,099 and it had a 200 dollar mail in rebate from Best Buy.

    The computer had a 15.4 inch screen. 100 GB harddrive. 1 GB RAM. and a 64 ML processor with 1.6 Ghz. It's got a DVD/CD burner in there too.

    I was skeptical of buying a "no-name" brand at first, but I went with it because ACER has been making computer parts for a long time. They just started getting into actually producing laptops.

    I've had no problems with it whatsoever, and it's actually 10 times quieter than my VAIO. The screen quality isn't as good, but I really enjoy it.

    It's a good computer for a very reasonable price.

    Dell 9300(only laptop u can 4 table on w/ no overlap).....hands down best laptop out....plus there is a coupon out for 750 off any dell laptop over 2k and 500 off any laptop over 1500......hope this helps
