I've just seen Padraig Harrington enlist the help of the gallery (along with playing partners, their caddies and various officials) to find his ball, Rory McIlroy had similar help yesterday. On top of that, yesterday Tiger Woods hit into some thick rough only to find he'd hit a strip of trampled rough and he had a decent lie (ball could well have been lost).
It's no wonder they get such great scores. I swear this help would knock 5 or 6 shots off me per round.
I think only playing partners and the lost ball player's caddy should be allowed to look for it.
End of rant. -
when i play... i think thats one of the hardest parts of the game. Ive hit balls that barely went off the fairway and just I give up looking for them. Like it goes straight, guys you're playing with tell you its a nice shot, ect... then im wandering around like and idiot.
shit frustrates me like crazy. -

If I was good enough to be on tour, I would want all the help I could get finding my ball if I was in the thick rough.
