    Solid premiere, a little poker action in future episodes. David Milch is a genius at dialog, cast is top notch, looking forward to the rest of season 1 in January.

    They did a good job of explaining things without slowing down the story since most people don't know shit about horse betting, but the dialog is so good it's beyond the avg audiences comprehension IMO.

    Can't wait to see the degen lose his roll to the asians at Commerce, as long as it's not quads vs. royal bad beat I'll be happy.

    Holy shit, just got done watching it, this show was insanely good. I love horse racing and this shit was as real as it gets. I used to work at a track as a summer job back a few years ago.

    Cannot wait for it to all start Jan 29th.

    Everyone should check this show out even if you aren't a big fan of the ponies, the plot seems absolutely awesome.

    One problem tho, they really need to re-edit the pilot. The first time thru on the pick6 willpays the 2 horse is showing a $300k payoff, not 2.6 mirrion. Then the 2 wins, and suddenly the payoff is 2.6 mirrion. Impossible for will-pays to change, they need to fix this.

    Other than that, I think it was amazingly done.

    This show is so fucking good. So it didn't actually start? I have to wait until end of January? Fucking lame but looks like it's setting up for a Luck to Game of Thrones transition. God damn I love HBO.

    Not a fan of horse racing (ehh, shouldn't really say that, I'm sure I'd love it since I'm such a degen, just haven't really got into it before) but this series sounds like it has potential. If it was a network show I wouldn't bother with it but given it's on HBO I'm definitely gonna check it out at some point.
