Looks like the PSN hackers are looking into bigger things. They already released 60,000 user names and password from gmail, hotmail, amazon etc.I'd start changing your passwords if you were on PSN if you haven't already.

I don't really think thats what their brand of nihilism is about.

And I mean if they successfully liberalize the net in places like China, more power to them. I just hope they don't get to cocksure and start attacking legitimate institutions just because they don't like what said institutions are doing.

Listen, if what you were saying were true, I would agree with their goals. Revealing political corruption and fighting against censorship in China would be awesome. However, they hacked the PSN network and revealed personal gamer information. They plan to hack banks which means they will hack regular peoples' bank accounts.

Their goals are more nefarious than you make it seem. I hope you are right though.

Thats how they have been operating for years. Anonymous' standard was always just to expose leaks in large corporation, or hacking companies that wronged them (Sony pressing charges for posting a video on how to mod a PS3). Their actions in the past have rarely messed with people's personal lives, except for a few idiots they targeted that posted stupid youtube videos and they decided they hated.
