  1. Who would win if they ever fought?
  2. the guy that doesnt start 900 threads a day
  3. Hard one... i'd say Machida, just a feak!!
  4. If Anderson won't engage until he knows what his opponent is doing and Lyoto never does anything would there even be a fight? They'd just endlessly circle, right?
  5. Machida
  6. Yea I think Machida has the perfect defense but i think if Silva is willing to engage he is the only one in the world who can stand with him and has the best chance of knocking him out. I think the only way to beat machida for others is to take him on the ground and submit him--he almost got submitted by Ortiz.

  7. anderson silva
  8. It will never happen and Machida would win... Silva is just holding Maia's belt.

  10. 1, will never happen. best friends

    2. they train together, word is that Machida owns Silva during training sessions. take that with a grain of salt...training really does not translate over to the fight.

Pretty much this. They've both already stated that they wouldn't fight eachother under any circumstances.

And as far as the bolded part, it's entirely possible that it does in this case. Chute Boxe and a few other camps (Hell, even mine) in sparring means going 100%. So, I'd say it's entirely possible they've already fought it just wasn't regulated by a State Athletic Commission and viewed by millions of people.
  12. silva wont even beat griffen, case closed.

brazilians need to stop with this "best friend" bs, shogun is breaking the code, fuck that noise, its bs, if you are told to fight for a belt, you fight whoever they put in front of u.

find out how much of a level it was when Forrest rains leg kicks on him, gets in his space and overpowers him. book it, machida would crush silva, are u nuts, get off silva's nuts, machida has never lost a round, nevermind a fight.

He has lost a round before...just not in the UFC.
  18. researched it harder, article was wrong and you were right, he lost one round to BJ Penn and had a split decision vs Greco, funny cuz i watched the Penn fight and i thought he won every round

keep in mind he has evovled since then, greco was one of his first fights ever and Bj was his 6th, and by far his biggest challenge at the time. Still losing 2 rounds in 15 fights and both early in ur career in remarkable.

Relax...I like Lyoto Machida and think he would beat Silva in a close fight. I also think Silva is going to beat Forrest. Machida and Silva are on a different level then Forrest.

I'm dead serious Maia is the future of the MW divison if you know anything about the UFC you would know this commonly known.

Maia is not very exciting but not much anyone can do about it, he will go down as one of the best ever just from his ground game alone..

I will bet anyone anything for any future fight of his, I will be in Portland at Marquret-Maia if someone wants some action let me know!!
  21. when maia steps up to anderson, i for one, will be happy to bet w/e u want

and if Jon Jones is smart, he will cut to 185 and dominate in a few years ;) but he may dominate 205, but right now i think he could be number 1 contender (and beat maia) at 185 if he could cut there
  22. Damian Maia would destroy them both . . . AT THE SAME TIME.
