    So first off this is a movie that my cousin is a producer on. I'm really proud of him and hope his movie takes off big time.
    It's supposed to be a fairly decent budget movie and SHOULD have a nationwide release.
    It stars Gerard Butler as Sam Childers, and Michelle Monaghan, and is directed by Marc Foster who did Monster's Ball, Kiter Runner, Stranger than Fiction, and Finding Neverland.
    The story for the movie is so awesome
    It's basically about a drug-dealing biker badass guy who finds god and decides to go down to Sudan to do some missionary work.
    When he gets down there he sees the horrible mass murders and atrocities and decides to make it his mission to help the sudanese people.
    He builds an orphanage in a bad part of the country and helps fight the rebels and train the villages to defend themselves.

    I like the title, and machine gun preacher is Sam Childer's nickname so that's why they chose it.
