Welcome back sluts! We call this OTL2...I'm not tryin to steal anyone's thunder but would like to get a list of participants so when it launches we can be close to ready. I have no issue running it but have no interest in holding. I will need 1 juggo to join or a very trustworthy member to hold.

As always, 2 buy in levels $50 and $100
Rules taken from OTL 1
https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0A...ocDVzZjI&hl=en
***each team is allowed 2 FA moves per week, also blocking XPs is not allowed, FGs are fair game***
things you must do before you play your week 1 game:
-if you have any roster issues still, let me know... I know there are probably still a few moves that need to be made due to some of you not communicating, so get that squared away before you play your 1st game - make sure you own all the rookies you drafted (some of them from the 5th round couldn't fit and weren't good enough to add)
- you must have your spreadsheet filled out exactly as your updated and correct roster on XBL shows, and be under your adjusted cap amount (there will be an OG base for your cap and it will be adjusted every year)... THIS IS THE CORE OF THE LEAGUE - you MUST have your spreadsheet filled out correctly and be under the cap to play a game during ANY week... we will be auditing ss regularly, and penalties will be enforced for not keeping an updated and correct ss - rosters must have 54 players minimum (also be sure to make a note next to your FA bid players and what round your rookies came from)
***be sure to account for your FA bid players and rookie cap numbers***
(rookies will be valued based on their ovr rank)

there's a list in the other thread about 25 deep, if you want in the main league (120 or 220 buy-in), post there
this thread is very confusing. jump the gun much? unless you plan on starting your own league... -
Packers $50
-
ffs...was unaware
-
i dont mind 2 leagues, but the same thing that happened last year will happen again, especially if you start getting interest for $50/$100 league before we start the first league...the other one won't fill as easily when ppl get in at half the cost here..lets make sure OTL1 gets going smoothly before this picks up steam
i also mentioned before...why not make "otl2" a 3 on 3 round robin tourney and utilize the new features in the game, just saying -
Madden '12 Online Franchise thread coming soon.
-
when i made the thread i didnt even know i had to post in the OTL 1 OG thread. I was very confuzzzzzd after Waco posted itt. I'm 100% sure OTL1 will insta fill and this should also fill quite fast. I wouldnt mind a round robin tourney but we def shouldn't make a league out of it. OTL2 is basically for the AAA players and not the Major Leagues, yfm?

think mb there should have been a NEW THREAD for a NEW SEASON for a BRAND NEW Madden?

Like I 1st posted an hour ago:
1. I didnt want to step on anyone's toes
2. It was to gain interest for a "AAA" league if you will
Doubt everyone is getting this butt hurt over me starting a "AAA" league ffs. But again, I wouldn't have made the gd thread if (a) someone told me the signups for OTL1 were in the Madden '10 thread or (b) there was a new thread to begin with.
Doubt Ima sit here and argue/assplain my actions when it isn't hurting anyone. OTL1 will get filled. I have no issue holding off the league until OTL1 starts if those are your wishes. If you have other motives, somb then -
just ftr, i created OTL2 many weeks after OTL1.....OTL3 was the 'noob' league that banned the 'juggernauts' after it was clear we were going to be tough to beat
Edited By: lucaduc Aug 8th, 2010 at 10:11 PM
starting an "OTL3" league to be the AAA league that it was last year before the game even releases is ridiculous...from 06-08 I would have gotten spanked if I played competitively..games change, player skill changes, the best may no longer be the best and vice versa
so even if this was just an "OTL3" ti doesn't make sense -
lolz braaa. I wasn't the one complaining. Tried to explain to you my reasoning for creating this thread. I was not made aware that i needed to check up on an old thread. You could have started a new thread and said, hey listen, we are only signing up regs and people who participated in previous leagues. If you didn't post itt, there would have been no way of me knowing about OTL1 '11 unless I opened a Madden '10 thread.

Should make this a GM only league. Everyone owns their team, does the draft, free agency, trades, etc., but all games are simulated. Could drop it to like a $25/50 buy in or whatever, but would give everyone a level playing field (as opposed to just watching sowerss, lucaduc, Randers, etc. in the Super Bowl...) and we could get in a ton of seasons, like 2-3 day advances. Just think it would compliment OTL1 better than a second league altogether. Plus can't really call it AAA league until we see who the good players really are in the new edition.

solid idea
