things you must do before you play your week 1 game:

-if you have any roster issues still, let me know... I know there are probably still a few moves that need to be made due to some of you not communicating, so get that squared away before you play your 1st game - make sure you own all the rookies you drafted:

- you must have your spreadsheet filled out exactly as your updated and correct roster on XBL shows, and be under your adjusted cap amount (the base is now 345)... this was not important last season, BUT IT IS NOW THE CORE OF THE LEAGUE - you MUST have your spreadsheet filled out correctly and be under the cap to play a game during ANY week... we will be auditing ss regularly, and penalties will be enforced for not keeping an updated and correct ss - rosters must have 54 players minimum

<h2>Big Off Season Has Cowboys Hopeful</h2> Associated Press

Arlington, TX - Ed Werder - After a 3-13 season last year, the Dallas Cowboys knew immediately changes were going to have to be made. Right away, the defensive co-ordinator was released for reported being "a douche," by the President of Football Operations, Mackie. Afer that, they went into the off-season to make big changes with their roster.

First, was the addition of unprotected free agent ROLB Joey Porter, who became the highest paid player in the OTL at 30pts. "We got a chance to see him [Joey Porter] play last year when we faced the Raiders," said Mackie. "We were impressed with what we saw. We told each other if we ever got the chance, we were going to get him." That they did, snatching him up in the blind bidding between the owners.

Along with porter, another high profile LB was brought in, and that was MLB Mack Jackson from University of New Mexico. Selected 3rd overall in the 2009 draft, the two-time All-American is expected to make some contributions from the start of his rookie season. "You know, it's an honor to play for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm going to work hard, really give it 110%. Try and take it one game at a time, and at the end of the day, it is what it is," Mack told us during training camp.

All in all, things are looking up for the Cowboys in OTL's second season. They really can't lose many more games than they did last year, and moral and confidence is really high here. You see people joking around while working hard which is always a good thing, and we were even told they have playoff expectations. "Yeah, don't be suprised if you see us in the hunt late next year," during a final conversation with Mackie in his office. "We're going to be working hard, we want this. If our players stay healthy and focused, I see really good things."

meh didn't play a part in the outcome of the game..needed TD regardless on last drive...every1 gets a couple blocked EP a season..part of the game imo
