    The bullpen has kicked ass lately, aside from Dumpster. The Cubs should easily be able to win 4 out of the next 6. Brewers are finished.

    That is complete bullshit. He gives up a run or two almost every time he makes an appearance. His ERA is 4.24, which is horrendous for a closer.

    To be denying that he sucks means you either know nothing or you have an inconquerable mancrush on him that keeps you awake at night.

    Yeah he comes in with a 4-run lead and they win by 1. Bra-fucking-VO.

    If you say, "Yeah, we've got this!" when Dempster takes the mound in the 9th with a 1-run lead, you're the only one.

    his sv/opp stats are skewed by the leads he has inherited like tim said. those mets games he blew(which is 2 of the 3 blown saves) were more than unacceptable, and that was a playoff caliber team that he could be seeing next week.

    howry can close, marmol could close if he hasn't already been so money as a set up guy. Wood has been solid, and Wurtz, even Eyre(second half) have been great. Dempster is frightening.
