    Are you sure it doesn't work in Europe? If you got it through ATT/Cingular, it's a GSM Quad Band phone, meaning that it has both the 850 and 1900 (MHz) bands used in the US and Canada as well as the 900 and 1800 used in Europe. I know it's not being sold in Europe yet, but I would have thought that it would work fine over there.

    Hey Maridu,
    Look up unlocking/hacking the Iphone in Google, some engineers had unlocked the iphone and made it work on the tmobile network. Pretty sure it involves some heavy duty work, and different sim cards, but it looks like it is possible though.

    The iPhone HAS been hacked to work in Europe. I think all you have to do is swap the SIM cards, lol. People have gotten this to work, you can google it to find out how.
