Michael Pineda and Dustin Ackley, who will be without a doubt the best AL pitcher and hitter for the next 10 years, are playing together for the first time tonight! And its against the best team in baseball (for one last year at least) the Philadelphia Phillies . Most pumped ive been for a mariners regular season games in a decade. Seems to be the same kind of interest around here for a prospect debuting as it was for Felix and even A-Rod and Griffey. The mariners will spend for one hitter this coming offseason and will be a contender for years to come. And they may even hang in there all year this year. Call me crazy, but im drinking the fucking kool aid. Ackley hitting 2nd and hopefully hitting .300 off the bat will change the lineup massively. Figgins can rot on the bench where he belongs and you add someone like this to the lineup and hot hitters like Brendan Ryan and Adam Kennedy can go down a little bit in the order where they belong, making this look a lot more like a damn near average (gasp) MLB lineup. Almost.
So basically, come get some bandwagon phillies fans. Enjoy your last season with the best record in baseball. You will lose this series and you will have less wins than the mariners from this day forward thru 2014. Book it.
Just as a refresher as to how awesome Pineda has been,

Got Ackley in a few deeper fantasy leagues, hoping he is a stud, I hear good things. Pineda is in beat mode right now, I'm curious to see if he can keep it up.

looks decently full to me, theres a lot of spots you can hang out at at safeco without being in your seats. that bar in left field under the bleachers is a personal fave.
