Not likely . . . I have a couple friends who have done tours in Afghanistan, and 1 who served in Rwanda when the genocide happened there. I have heard enough first hand details of some pretty fucked up shit to last me a lifetime. I have been blessed that I never had to do so during my service.

That's a dumb statement. Doubt many commanders have been shot at by the taliban. Doubt the Commander in Chief has. That statement implies that the very citizens who are supposed to run the military should just shut up when it comes to the military. He was just stating his opinion in a less than eloquent way that some people comment on things they know little about. I didn't take it as a warning, more of a "shut up", as in learn more about the subject before you speak.
