First player in MLB history to pitch back-to-back perfect games
  2. 1st base
  3. 6 up, 6 down. This is nerve racking to watch.

40 straight batters retired by Buehrle.

surprisingly he's just one off the record of....some dude whose name I forgot and Bobby Jenks, the White Sox closer

  14. is this on regular tv yet?
  15. yea, 2 perfect games or even no hitters would be straight nasty. Gay opinion question here, but what could you compare this to with other sport accomplishments? kobes 70 point game or whatever he put up..bradys td pass record or are those weak in comparison?

too inconceivable and early to think about but it blows all of that away..... it would be equal to or above any sports accomplisment in any sport...

I'm pretty sure back to back no hitters were thrown, maybe pre 1900, and possibly even on the same day... (edit, check that it was Vandemeer in the 30's, four days apart...

If he somehow throws two back to back perfect games.

It has to be the greatest accomplishment ever in sports.
  22. Maybe a 59 in golf.

not sure how many there have been.

not sure about b-ball because it really wouldn't be hard for a player to score 70-80 points if he just took every shot.

maybe 250 rushing yards in a game.

edit:my comparison is for 1 perfect game. 2, well there is nothing that compares, imo

  23. Wow, this will be more epic than John Vandermeer's I think that's the guy's name with the back-to-back no nos right and be by far the greatest feat ever in sports.

  26. there's his run

    bang bang bang
  27. and Buehrle gets a run as Dye homers, so no worries about a scoreless game now

  28. what about a perfect game, and then a no hitter?

basically im just trying to find a reason why this cant be the greatest accomplishment ever since its not on tv anywhere here, and i hate not being able to witness something spectacular
  29. please tell me this is being shown on ESPN2 or something by now.

I dont feel like going upstairs to check.
