    As a Terps basketball fan I have to say that I'm thoroughly disappointed in the team lately. They blew a 14 point second half lead to Virginia Tech, nearly blew a second half double digit lead to Wake Forest, and last night blew a 20 point, second half lead to Clemson!

    NIT here we come!

    We had an argument bout this last nite after a Clemson fan was running his mouth about their first tourney appearance in about 13 years. I'm still pretty much in shock that they could play so good for 30 minutes, and then just collapse, especially in such a huge game. We can still slip in with a win at va and a win or two in the acc tourney. The program isnt what it once was, but there is talent. Greivis is a stud, and hayes is ok. Then milborne, bowie and tucker have all showed some promise.even burney has givin some good minutes lately.

    seriously and theyre not even a top 20 team. theyre a 1 and done team in the tourney. and they were sayin things like " was there ever any doubt" and "have fun in the nit" lolz

    please don't ever type greivis is a stud ever again. He's a cocky, emotional player who 75% of the time plays terrible basketball for a point guard. He's selfish and is probably close to leading the country in turnovers. I can't wait until he is gone from Maryland, unfortunately he's only a sophomore so unless he leaves early (no chance) i'm stuck watching him for two more years.

    GV is playing out of posiiton because we do not have good ball handlers. EH has played horrible when facing pressure defense. Find me another 6'5 or 6'6 guy playing point guard who has the responsibility of breaking the press. Without GV we are a 2 or 3 win ACC team this year. Who else on our team could average 17 and 7? Nobody else can generate offense off the dribble on our team except backup frosh who rarely see the floor (Bowie, Tucker). Is GV selfish? At times he is. He makes horrible decisions in calling his own number 3 or 4 times a game consistently (remeber he is a soph). However, I find it hard to categorize a guy leading the ACC in assists as selfish. He dropped 15 assists in the NC State game alone.

    And let me make this clear, I do not like him personally. In my very limited experience he is a total egomaniac douche. I also HATE his on the court antics. But the man can play basketball. Also, you may get your wish of him being gone after this year. People close to the program have hinted at this possibility for over a month now. NBA is somewhat unlikely but him going to Europe to make money for a couple of years while trying to refine his game to NBA standards is quite possible. If he does leave, we need to hope Bobby Maze (JuCo coming in next year) is a top tier ACC player, something I have not seen in his stats or videos.

    The Terps will beat Virginia on Sunday and then win 1 game in the ACC tournament. They will end up a 20 win team that went 9-7 in the acc and they will make the tournament.

    Oh and I lol when people from Staten Island call others suckers.

    They'll be okay. They have played like crap the past couple weeks though.
