    I have been feeling pretty shitty recently, and was thinking about giving this a try. I know it is EXTREMELY difficult, but I feel like I have fallen into a lul with the same old routine of school, poker, and going out. I need something to challenge myself and think this might be a way to do that while improving my physical health. Has anyone done this before? Any recommendations for getting ready would be helpful.

    It involves ten days of fasting and drinking nothing but the master cleanse lemonade, which consists of purified water, organic maple syrup, lemon juice, and cayanne (sp?) pepper. There is also a decent amount of laxative use involved. Sounds fun.

    Detox, is, in general, total bullshit, and unhealthy if you do it wrong (or right, in some cases). Simple remedy has, and always will be, eat more fruits and veggies, exercise, get a full night's sleep. Our bodies are simple machines, and have been surviving for millenia.

    PM LVPokerDealer. He tried it very recently. Kept getting texts from him saying he felt like he was in hell. You'll have to endure lots of suffering but if you find that the reward and benefits will outweigh the physical and mental pain that you'll go through at the time of the cleansing...

    edit: Listen to what Steve just said....this is a better option

    it was brutal, did like 5 days and couldnt take it. the morning rinse was unreal, every 20 min pissing like a gallon of shit out of you. the pain from the hunger was unbearable.
