    Knowing both, i can assure you that the article is right. Craving for fast food, McDonald's was the last place i used to chose when i lived in SF , but in France, it's the first restaurant that comes to mind.

    Have you tried it?

    The Mcdonalds in Rome is pretty sick, marble floors, fountain, & marble statues inside. Not far from the Spanish Steps either.

    been to some decent ones with couches and nice chairs etc. They have McCafe in Asia, don't remember seeing them in US, dunno if they have them

    In Asia they deliver
    In China they sell fried chicken. Think because KCF is really popular here, the Chinese prefer it over McDonalds
    I dunno if this is normal but the 24 hour McDonalds here in Macau sells sausage mcfuffins 24 hours a day

    1-there are 1200 Mc donalds in France (second country in the world with most McDonalds) so i guess it's pretty popular don't you think you cocksucker?
    2- that typical "oh no world wide company blablabla" bullshit is funny considering France is the country that imitates the USA to the maximum. Carrefour is number 2 in the world behind Walmart, malls are the same everywhere. It's funny people always complain about big corporations but they are the first one to shop there.

    It blows my skull when people travel 5,000 or 8,000 or however many miles to exotic locales with world class food and still line up to eat at McDonald's every day... I mean, occasionally I have to do it just because it's not really a burger part of the world and there aren't like little well hidden tasty burger shacks in Malaysia, but if you're in a place for a week or two, eat their food.

    This KFC is 2.5 hours away and I've never been inside, but the outside is completely amazing... in Penang, for those who care.

    I started a thread about McDonalds being better in France thanks to many different reasons. Now don't get me wrong, I know it's still a bad eating habit and I eat there in average 20 times a year. That's my fast food diet for a year.
    And what do i read? people derailing going on and on and on about the crap they are. I KNOW IT and most people do as well. It's just a matter of balancing your diet correctly.
    What pisses me off is the lecturing about fast food coming from americans who hate McDonalds but are going to eat all the junk food available: HotDogs, donuts, hamburgers (from In and out or from a fancy restaurant, a hamburger with fries is still something you should not eat all the time), candies, pizzas etc etc...
    And Glo4m, please enough with these clichés already. I saw this picture a thousand times on here already. France is not portugal. Like i said earlier, France is like a mini-USA when it comes to shopping and 15-20 year old girls have found their way to shaving many years ago thanks to our thousands of supermarkets selling the same beauty products but also thanks to the slutification of a generation gloryfying young record selling singing prostitutes wearing nothing but a g-string.

    I agree about the fries but a well portioned, fresh made hamburger is not unhealthy. Its empty calorie foods like potatos(skinned particularly, potato skins have tons of nutrients) and corn that suck.
