    After a long night at the bar we are on the passenger side of his car talking about god knows what when the following takes place. He punches me in the chest, i strike back in the chest and he counters with a right cross in the eye. Im fine, but was not expecitng a punch to face so I'm a lil stunnned. I'm (holding my eye) like dude you just punched me in the eye. He is like, "dude I barely hit you", I'm likeyou hit me as hard as you could in the eye. So, after arguing about how hard he hit me in the eye, I decide to demonstrate, but he partially blocks, and a couple a seconds later I catch him clean trying to give him the mouse he has given me. I have a knot on the left side of my nose, I have no idea if he is damaged, but hopefully it is at least as much as he has damaged me, as I have to see my family tomorrow. I was right to punch him back, right?

    cliff notes: friend punches me in the face for no valid reason

    I punch him back in the face.

    You shouldnt do anything. You both had been drinking, your friends so drop it. If it was some random then fight it out, but since it isnt just leave it alone.

    Tomorrow when you see him tell him he owes you some shots at your favorite bar for fucking up your nose.

    Then why he have to go and hit him in the face?     There is always an escalation of force in drunk bitch fighting. First it is easy and fun then it turns into someone getting mad. This always happens.

    Brush it off and be a man about it.
