Everyone who won their leagues, and zien since your buddies don't want to create names on here for some reason, I guess you will draft for both of them, please post when you can draft.

There really doesn't need to be a set time i suppose, people can just check back and post their pick when they can over the next week, but itd be best if there was a set hour where everyone was around so I could watch and keep track and make sure everything is going smoothly.

Im going to pm lee8ts and ask exactly how the playoffs work, but im pretty sure its the same starting positions as the regular season and there is no bench. there are no add/drops, what you draft is what you get. Once I have it all settled I will post in here and hopefully all 6 of you have agreed on a time.

uhh, idk if thats cool man. I mean i guess I don't really care, but im gonna leave it up to the other players to allow it, although im not sure theres much anyone can do since your friends don't wanna contact me/make a p5s name, but the fact that you're drafting for 2 teams when neither are tech yours but you bought one, idk how well that will sit with everyone else. feedback from other players would be appreciated

Pretty much any time this week is fine for me, as long as I know ahead of time.

Don't really have a problem with someone drafting both teams since there aren't any trades and add/drops (right?) although the only thing I could think of is it might not be fair if his picks are right next to each other, especially if it's at the end so he got 4 picks in a row. Idk how we are doing order though

We decided this before the season. Some people could actually have two teams and end up drafting them both at the end I just happened to have only one of my teams. With no trades I don't see the issue. Anyone that knows me on here can vouch there will be no collusion.

i have to confirm the rules with thereraise since leet8s has his pm box filled. but im pretty sure its going to be same positions/scoring, no benches, no trades. What you draft is your team for the duration of the playoffs. Whoever has the most total points at the end of the superbowl is out winner.

And like I said i don't care if you buy your buddies team or if you draft for that team and your other buddies team, but its only fair that everyone has a say in the matter and feel its fair. I will say however if your teams end up drafting next to each other, it will be completely based upon my discretion if there is collussion, and if there is I will kick one of your teams out and we will re-draft with 5. So just make sure there is no funny business going on and there won't be a problem.

you have it right, same rosters, no bench or trades or add/drops. Roto scoring thru superbowl. And i think it was just a random number draw for drafting.

Well from my understanding. league 4 and league 5 winners were his buddies. He bought one of their teams, and im not sure if hes actually drafting for the other, or if his buddy will just tell him what to post. Either way, only one of the teams is his in a monetary sense.

And nothing against zien, I dont think you're going to cheat or collude, but I don't see how I can stop anything if they want to try other than use my discretion. Even if we have his friends create p5s accounts, he could just create the two accounts himself or something. So other than using my discretion if I think they are colluding theres not much i can do either way, even if I do tell them he can't draft both teams or buy one of the teams, i think itll be pretty easy to get around. But im open for suggestions if people are really opposed to it(altho it doesn't seem so)

and another note, NBAJam is out of town until the 4th, which he said he can draft the 4th 5th or 6th. So maybe lets plan on one of those days if the other 5 of you are good with that seeing as he prob won't post until then.

drafting brees overall would be fine. Itd be more like drafting david akers overall and the other guy being able to go rodgers/welker or something.

And it wouldn't be a discussion if you weren't buying the team, its not something I thought of so it's just something small that should be(and prob will be) OKed by the other guys, thats all. really not a big deal.

it prob would be irrelevant if you didnt have another friend who won and also are going to draft for him. thats where the small issue stands.

I will say if one p5er sold it to another p5er, i probably wouldn't allow it and force the original guy to draft, but with people outside p5s its gonna be hard for me to control it.

pretty much my point, your gonna do what you want either way, still feel like people should have a say, esp since i dont think anyone will really care anyway and make it a mute point.

we needed the extra players this year to hit 60 tho, really the only reason why i did that. next year ill start up the interest earlier tho and it shouldn't be a problem, esp for anyone who doesn't know me and it being my first year didn't want to do it will feel safer 2nd time around

With regards to Zien's situation...kinda shady, both on purchasing your friends team and drafting for your other friend who refuses to make a P5's account. However, since none of this stuff was in the rules beforehand I guess I don't have a problem with it. As long as we assume no collusion during the draft it shouldn't be a problem.

I agree that this kind of stuff has to be in the rules next year.

Zien, this is coming up as an issue bc your friend doesn't want to sign up here and you "bought" your other friends entry. It just seems weird having one person posting picks for two teams.

Also, there is one change in lineups for te playoffs...there is no flex because the player pool is too depleted.
