As someone who is pursuing coaching in Soccer, and yes, I have done the whole taking classes to get certified to coach by the EPYSL (Easter PA Youth Soccer League).
Shit like this makes me fucking sick. No coach should hit a player, ever, fuck Bobby Knight type antics. The coach should not have a job, and the player is well within his right to not accept an apology for aggression from his Coach, and supposed teacher. -

Actually, I went to a small college prep school where our coach would dress us up in our lacrosse gear and hold full contact indoor hockey games, which he played, and he beat the crap out of us in the game. I was hazed more in sports than I care to comment from those days. When I was in 9th grade, and all of 5'5" and 130lbs, I had seniors who were 6'0" beating my ass every single day in practice, all year, because we only had 80 kids enrolled and all of us with Athletic ability had to play all sports if they wanted to field a team. So, I lettered in Tennis and Lacrosse somehow in high school and I never played them before and very little after I left school.

He's a pussy for not accepting the apology. I was always under the impression it's man law to accept an apology from another man regardless of circumstance. Only women get to pull that "I'm not accepting the apology" bullshit.

IDK, prep school lacrosse in PA seemed pretty tough to me (although, I had no real comparison of any other level or type of lacrosse). I was small and able to keep the ball in my netting in close quarters so I played attack. I got knocked around a lot, and usually came home black and blue from the stick checking of those fucking long ass defender sticks.

In the end, as a coach, someone who's out there with kids. Even though that does not seem like it is a big deal, the coach fucked up badly. Physical contact like that with a player should not happen. Really, is there a need for it? More than one way to skin a cat. -

Coach got carried away and did a bad thing. If he does it repeatedly he's a jackass too. I thought his apology was sincere and his later compliments of the pussy's hard work were sincere. The kid is a jackass for not accepting the apology and moving on. It's clips like this that make people want to hunt lawyers with dogs. I mean wtf lawyers on good morning America for this?
