    i know this may sound dumb. probably because it is.

    i have been listening to metallica non stop for about a month. i absolutely love them. but their lyrics are kind of confusing, like a hidden message.

    mr blonde might know this one. is there a site that says what the songs are about? lol

    i definately enjoy it. to be honest, i thought i'd never say this, i like them more then korn. i cant believe it.....now if i only i can get to a concert someday.

    I saw them in concert twice in the early 90s.... PLEASE, do yourself a favor and do not listen to anything after the Black album.

    Enjoy that and everything before, but Load never happened. Reload never happened, etc... You will be much better off.

    And back then, they fucking rocked - 3 story tall speakers, flames, etc... saw them with Suicidal Tendencies and Danzig. I still throw in ...And Justice For All whenever I am stressed and just want to forget problems.

    lol, i cant even count the number of times i've read the lyrics to all their music. metallica is kinda new to me, i've liked them forever. like...when they came on the radio, or dl'ed a few songs, but i am really starting to get into them. have some dvds and cds and shirts and posters. i cant get enough. i would absolutely love to see them in concert though.

    I've seen them about a dozen times live...including 2 nights back to back for the black album. A few summer sanitarium tours one in the old Vet, and another in the ravens stadium in baltimore, the million decibel march, and a private (semi)acoustic concert at indre studios in philly. Some of the best shows I've ever seen.

    I like Garage Inc. cause it was covers of badass metal songs or songs, not songs they had written after black album.

    All I know is "One" is my fav song ever...

    I have the box set from back in the early 90's to bad I Don't have a VCR anymore.. I miss the tapes of them playing basketball, talking about the accident when he died.. etc...etc

    Metallica > Any other music, imo

    black album = my HS warm up songs for every competition...FB, wrestling, track, dates...etc.

    now i listen anytime i go running. good shtuff

    I could care less about lyrics.. Blast it up man.. Metallica is good shit.. And yes Load and Re-Load arent as good as their earlier stuff. But there are a few tracks on both records that are worth a listen.. (Outlaw Torn and Bleeding Me come to mind right now) And St Anger whomever decided to record it that way should be shot.. Sounds horrible. I cant listen to it..

    I love the intro to Sad But True... I use to crank that and Sanatarium, and master or puppets before my Highschool Football and Basketball games!

    Metallica is def one of my favorites...got to see them in 1989 during there Justice for All tour..they came with The Cult..what a great show!
