  1. Looks like 2010 WS is ours!!!!!
  2. WS? LOL
  3. LOL yeah just like it did when you got Santana, Beltran...etc...GG Mets 2010.
  4. this was a good buy. he cost minimum so if he's not back to where he was before he got hurt it's a minimal loss. it was a major league deal, but i'm guessing they will test him out in ST and not just give him a spot in the rotation. def worth the gamble for 300k.

glad it's finally official, metsblog.com posted about this over a week ago, couldn't find it anywhere else though.

clearly this wasn't anything like the big move we needed, but it was a smart chance to take.

definitely not gonna help your sales though lolol.

  6. If Escobar can stay healthy the Mets got a guy with some of the best stuff in baseball. He has at least 4 plus pitches, although he probably won't need to use them all out of the bullpen. I like the signing a lot and Mets fans should absolutely love Kelvim provided he stays healthy.

Edit: tsxxxxxxxxxxx, I was under the impression that he's going to pitch out of the pen. I think that's how he was marketing himself this off-season.

  9. honestly, i have no idea where he was going..just found out it's bp i just meant that if he doesn't work out in ST they will throw him in the minors for the money he's paid
  10. Wow that totally cancels out the phillies getting Halladay. wtg mets GM
  11. war, he's 300k i think or close to it...it's a no lose situation the money is insignificant. he prob has incentives. if he's healthy, he's gonna b sweet value, if he sucks, big deal they eat the $
