    i need your opinions on an argument i got into last night. My friend works at Pure(club in vegas) and was telling us how he was talking to tyson the other day and that he comes into Pure like every night. he says tyson always comes there alone so we start talking about him getting chicks and the following argument erupted.

    I pretty much said what a loser and i dont see how hes pulling that many chicks from there. Im sure once girls KNOW that hes mike tyson then they would want him because hes a celebrity but my argument was that just by seeing him on the street not many would know who he is. I was shocked that everyone at the table thought that well over 50% off girls would just be able to spot him walking down the street and go " thats mike tyson."

    Question- if tyson was just out doing everyday things like grocery shopping, pumping gas, etc. what percentage of 100 GIRLS would see him and know who he was?


    stupid drunk argument but it turned into a pretty big debate for about an hour haha. ( 1 girl with us said she would know him, other said she wouldnt.)

    so what percent do u think it would be and why?

    EDIT- im asking u guys what % u think not just girls opinions

    The mayan face tattoo would be a dead giveaway to most. I say more than 50% would recognize him.

    First of all it's a club in vegas. Imo the likelyhood he is recognized is even higher. 2nd any girl I know could pick him out easy. 3rd you know he has his face tatooed now right?

    EDIT: 4th if he starts talking, game over.

    yeah if like he gets announced or has a crowd around him i know they will find out who he is. Im saying if he was in a normal environment i just dont see girls being able to see him and instantly recognize him as tyson

    i think there might be a decent % that would recongize him as a famous boxer but may not know his name.

    ^ I'd say there's a better chance that they'd recognize him as Mike Tyson and not know that he was a boxer

    my friends were saying they would bet that up to 85% would recognize him and know who he was just by seeing him walking down the street. I think this number is way too high and said i would go maybe 30% tops, definetly not over 50 and certainly not 85

    girls don't follow sports and know way less than you think, even though Tyson is known for other things. I wouldn't be surprised if 90 of 100 DIDN'T recognize him.

    me and my GF were walking in manhatten last year and he and a girl were walking next to us, up 5th ave. my girl knew who he was.

    Everybody will know him. He is Mike Tyson. Trainwreck that he is, he has been popular for over 20 years now. Pretty sure he KTFO of Berbick back in 86. 5 years of whoopin ass, a few more of knockin Robin Givens around and raping Miss Alabama or whatever, then you have the ear biting, the face tattooing. Come on this guy is pretty goddman famous.

    the question isnt whether or not they would simply know who he is. The question is if they just saw him like in a grocery store shopping or something normal if they would recognize him. boxing isnt as commercialized on tv like tiger woods/kobe in tons of commercials and i really dont think many girls would see him and instantly know him

    83% of women and 98% of men would recognize him at the grocery store or gas pump.

    You're talking about the NBA. Most girls I know couldn't name more than a couple guys in the NBA, if that.

    of all woman, 25% would recognize him.

    women arent really into sports...i know only 1 of my 3 sisters would know who he is and my mom would have no idea who he was. same goes for my aunts and cousins...any older woman would have NO idea who he was.

    Most Girls I know are boxing Fans. LOL. Chicks wouldn't reconise him unless there remember him from the Magazines.

    It's the opposite. Most girls under 20 would have no idea who he is. Even 80-year olds have seen him on the news for over 20 years. Old people watch the news constantly and Tyson was all over the news in the '80s and '90s. He was the heavyweight champ back when it still meant something. It's the younger girls who wouldn't know him, since he hasn't done anything that's been big news in over a decade and no one cares about boxing anymore.

    I'd say 34% of women would see him and be able to name him.

    Exactly. Most older woman would know who Tyson was. Most don't know an NBA player.

    i still dont think ur fully understanding the question. Its not whether or not they knew him if i said hey do you know mike tyson?. obviously anyone that hasnt been under a rock would know him. Im saying if he was just strolling down the street in normal clothes doing normal things. hes not all over tv like others and i just cant see how over 50% of ur average girl would be able to spot him out in a normal everyday situation.
