is a POS. end/
-
i run an orphan fighting ring in Willamantic, CT. Am i a bigger POS?
-
youre a pos, he made a big mistake and has payed for it dearly. he was the most electrifying player in the league to watch, and deserves a second chance just like everyone else.
-
I wouldn't piss down Mike Vicks throat if his heart was on fire.
-
I have lost all respect for him and he is a pos.... but he has paid his debt to society and he doesw deserve a second chance!
-
Forgetting his personal issues for a minute...was he really that good? Or just over-hyped? His QB rating is not all that impresssive, in my opinion.

god you peeple tilt me so fucking bad. he made a mistake but god damn he paid his debt and then some. i hope none of you fuck up and need a second a chance.
-
I am all for second chances but you can't act like he was some innocent bystander who didn't know EXACTLY what he was doing before, during, and after he did it.
-
This shows me whats wrong with people.
Was what he did awful? Yes
Did he pay for his crime? Yes
Does he deserve a second chance? Yes
Let's see, Jamal Lewis busted for selling cocaine, no big deal right. Leondard Little killed a woman while drunk driving, oh he's human he made a tragic mistake. Donte Stallworth just killed a man, where is the outrage for that?
The number of protests people had for Vick are ten fold what anybody has said or done about the 3 I just mentioned, combined. -
My mistakes will not include hanging dogs, electricuting dogs, or drowning them, or offering a facility or financing for such to be preformed. I think the hatred for him is justified. I can accept that some people choose to forgive him. everybody is free to have an opinion of the man.

but I guess that's just how we are as a sports society. we are horrified by steroids abusers but don't give a damn about players who pick up DUIs. gg priorities -
Steroids are illegal in 50 states, alcohol is legal to anyone over age of 21.

he didnt just make one mistake. this dog fighting ring he was doing wasnt just some one time deal. it went on for like 5+ years, he knew what he was doing al that time and still continued on w/ it. plus he had some other minor offenses on the side. this guy is worthless, i guess he deserves a second chance, but he will blow it, and be living in the projects or in jail the rest of his life.

also this thread is pointless, no need to point out the blantantly obv. -
That's got to be the dumbest thing I've ever read. B/c alcohol is legal, it's ok to kill someone?? WTF are you trying to say?

steroids also cause no harm to anyone but the pple using them. DUI can kill pple and we've seen it twice w/in the last couple of months w/ adenhart and duante stallworth.

he'll get a second chance, but will the fans ever accept him? not totally. will he be successful? well, if a team can figure out that he is (or at least was) the best possible option in a 'wildcat' style set, yeah, maybe, huh? his days of being a team's #1 option at QB are as gone as his name is off the PETA xmas card list.
edit: ya know, actually, PETA should be thanking this guy for bringing such massive awareness to their cause. the sacrifices those dogs made werent in vain, imo. -
Yeah he served his time and yeah he deserves a second chance, but he shouldn't be able to just waltz back into the NFL and immed get a job with a team. I mean how many people do you know that are able to go right back to their upper management job at ABC corp after spending 2 years in jail?
-
he wont be playing in the NFL this year goodell will do the right thing and give this guy a 1year minimum suspension.

I would bet the dogs would disagree -
What really tilts me is when people call Vick a QB. He's never been a QB, he was a small RB who threw the ball poorly.
Let's not kid ourselves here.. -
people love dogs... pretty easy to figure out

no one is talking about alcohol; they're talking about driving while intoxicated, which is illegal in all 50 states.

steroids don't harm anyone except the person using them (and in some cases, even that's up for debate...) DUIs on the other hand are very, very risky for innocent bystanders. and yes, alcohol is legal...but driving under the influence is illegal in all 50 states as well lol -
vick was overrated before it was revealed he was a pos
now he is more appropriately rated imo -
why dont you wait and see how much jail time donte does before you comment on the lack of response

well, seeing how i'm never going to let dogs kill each other for fun i won't be needing that big of a second chance.
