  1. anybody got any good book recommendations from the last 10-15 years up to today?

Science channel has a pretty sweet show on called "Prophets of Science Fiction" and it has me wanting to read some.
  2. A Canticle for Leibwitz
    Night Angel trilogy
    Passage (1 of 3, 2nd out in 2012)
Black Company series by Glen Cook
    World War Z
    Cryptonomicon
Warded Man by Peter Brett (1st of 3, 3rd out in 2012)
Night's Dawn trilogy by Peter Hamilton
    Chronicles of the Necromancer
  3. Moving Mars

Amazing book that starts off slow, very well written which is what got me through the first part but now is one of my favorite Science Fiction books, delves into the realm of Quantum Thinkers and their affects on humanity, and a Rebellion on Mars to loosen itself from the grips of Earth.

  4. anything by spider robinson, his humorous stuff is the Callahan series, I like some of his stand alone work like telempath he also has the star-dancer series which I am lukewarm on. He was also commisioned to finish and unfinished Heinlein novel (they were sorta mentor and disciple) which is quite good, interesting if you know both their styles to see how they merged. LOL title is escaping me right now and I'm too lazy to look it up.

  5. battlestar galactica hands down if you have not seen it. Watch the 4 hour mini series first then season 1 picks up from there. No need to watch the 2 made for tv movies that came out after the show ended. I think the show is way underrated and is actually really good.

Never mind I lack reading skills to actually see what question you asked.
But watch the show anyways if you haven't seen it
