    Also, neglected to mention that I enjoyed the fact that the officer said he smelled alcohol on her breath, and she blew a 0.00.

    Fantastic use of probable cause to harass some people.

    She also declined to blow into a portable device that detects alcohol, invoking her right under state law to take a more sophisticated breath test at the nearby Wrightsville Beach police station with a witness present.

    After Tessener, who is described in Wyrick's arrest report as "polite," refuses to take the roadside tests the trooper arrests her and places her in handcuffs.

    She was being harassed and she was in evening dress and heels likely did not want to be standing on side of road in middle of no where with this creepy cop.

    As he stopped, he said he saw the cruiser containing Wyrick and his handcuffed wife pull off into the night.

    When he asked the trooper's name, he said the trooper shined a flashlight in his eyes so he could not read the tag on his shirt. He was soon released without charge.

    They take her to a testing facility (station maybe? idk) The way i read it, the husband shows up to this testing facility and they inform him she needs to see a judge to be released, even after she blew 0.00. So he follows the cruiser with, her in it, to the judge. On the way he gets pulled over and harassed the same way his wife was. Coincidence? no, because they were texting each other all night about the situation?

    yes they can take you in if you refuse roadside test/BAC test, if you pass the one at the station you are free to go. thats why the husband was following them and was pulled over and fucked with.

    omg they pulled someone over and she refused the normal test so they gave her the other test and...uh...that's it, apparently. unfreakingreal

    ps if she wasn't drinking why'd she refuse the test. sfconfusing

    Also they were placed on desk duty, and I.A. is doing a full investigation. Do you think any of that happens if it wasn't a lawyer and his wife?

    About 15 minutes later, Smith pulls over Hoyt Tessener, Gina's husband, as he follows Wyrick's patrol car to the New Hanover County jail.
