Drinking and driving is still acceptable. All slices of society do it. They never have a bunch of cabs at my office christmas parties. For every person caught there are 100000 incidents that are not caught. Why the hell do bars have parking lots? For the designated drivers? Ha Two drinks and you are "legally" drunk. If you don't want to get killed by a drunk, stay off the road after midnight on the weekend, when a large percentage of the accidents happen.
By the way, Armed robbers are the trash of society.
Cheers
really, and i thought ppl who drunk and drove were the trash of society. welcome to 2009.
are you for fuckin real?? -
LOL @ thinking opinions are facts and getting pissed at anyone else for not agreeing with you.

So there are probably only a few hundred times more drunk drivers than armed robbers. Not a few hundred thousand times more. But the overall concept still works:
1. Armed robbers are more dangerous than drunk drivers (based strictly on percentage of injuries/deaths occuring per attempt)
2. More total injuries/deaths occur per year from drunk driving than from armed robberies due to the fact that way way way more people go drunk driving than armed robbing per year. It's still less dangerous per attempt though. Which is what counts, in a discussion about dangerousness of the activity itself. Total figures are irrelevant. Just like mathclub mentioned earlier. Going skydiving without a parachute is obviously a lot more dangerous than going drunk driving, but it is equally obvious that more deaths will occur each year from drunk driving than from skydiving without a parachute, simply because not very many people go skydiving without a parachute. It's still more DANGEROUS to go skydiving without a parachute though, just less total deaths because the activity itself is so much less common.
note the OP is A drunk driver vs AN armed robber. not drunk drivers vs armed robbers total, but one of each vs each other. therefore dot dot dot fucking ship it to armed robbers being way more dangerous as individuals than drunk drivers are.
jen + bfactor + waco + mathclub = everyone else must be wrong. -
My 14 year old sister will drive differently than me who will drive differently than the freshmen drinking for the first time who will also drive differently than my dad when we all blow .08s or even .05 (dwai). Please dont punish the level you are at, punish how poorly you are driving.

I'm shocked at how many people are saying drunk driver's are more dangerous.
Without a doubt, I would rather pass a random drunk driver on the street than be involved in an armed robbery. Christ I bet I have driven by 10,000+ drunk drivers in my life. If I had been involved in 10,000 armed robberies I'd be dead. -
he summed it u pretty well. anyone that said Drunk Driver is dumb....but there are variables too as stated.
