the less you hate?
It is estimated (on the low side) that there are 200 billion galaxies in the universe each containing (on average) 200 billion stars. For perspective, it is likely that there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on every beach on earth.
So, the odds of life developing, at all, probably approaches 1/(200 billion * 200 billion). The odds that life developed to the degree that it can comprehend that is even smaller. The odds that YOU developed just as you did are smaller still. The odds that you developed just the way you did and the next person you meet developed just the way he/she/bfactor did and that you two meet are smaller still. Think about that next time you meet someone and just maybe the trivial things in life will be easier to let go (even if you meet as he/she nearly sideswipes you doing 75 in a 40).
I know there are lots of things to worry about in this world, you know them all, I don't need to list them. But, if you strive for knowledge and happiness rather than hate and ignorance (which lead to devolution/stalled development), there is an effect on the whole world (however small it is) in the form of advancement (evolution) of our species. You can contribute to that, don't let the worries consume you, strive for peace, love, happiness and knowledge.
So get to it motherfuckers, what the fuck you waiting for? -
No, I mentioned bfactor.

You're trying too hard to make threads worthy of discussion.
Just because our chances of existence are minute doesn't mean we should value another individual as an equal existence. While, imo, very few people are truly special, that in no way means we should acquiesce to mediocrity. The petty things and trivialities are what make us human. The competition to see what bloodlines will persevere to the very end. Striving for ideals that hold no tangible form will always fail. Your premise assumes that people as a whole can be altruistic, or even want to be. That's not the case, see the conservative base. That lack of concern isn't an act of ignorance or even hate. It's an effort to maintain power and wealth within a given subset. It's overall an intelligent plan, in such a short timeframe we have, having the power is the closet thing to immortality and will never stop being chased. Unless you believe humanity can be drastically changed itself, education and intelligence is a moot point. There are limited resources versus a greater growing population. Good luck trying to tell any single one of them to subvert themselves to your level. -

Lol, I like how I've finally become a gender. I knew it was only a matter of time.

And you're trying too hard to be a contrarian.

I woke up this morning and these were my thoughts, so I wrote them down. This is not an argument or theory, so there is no premise to refute. I am just asking people to not let subtle differences and small worries burden them with anger when these troubles are so microscopic in the grand scheme of things.
Edit: ^^ In reply to niceguy obv. Also thanks for the video Spanky. I'd like to recommend any documentary featuring Carl Sagan as well, he was a master at explaining in lay terms some of the mind-bending aspects of existence and the universe. -
The universe is massive and rare things happen all the time.

I won't know if you math was correct until Rocket enters this thread.

My apologies,
I thought your naivety had a point.
Won't happen again.
