So, I just finished watching The Shawshank Redemption (not sure how many times that is now, but it had been a while). Anyway, it occurred to me that Morgan Freeman had his finest scene in this movie:

This is an awesome movie. Speaking of Mr. Freeman, my Dad was in 'Driving Miss Daisy' with Morgan and Dan Akroyd. Actually, we had Dan over for dinner after the movie was done being filmed. Was really cool experience. Dad has been in some other shows / movies as well.

Shawshank and Se7en are both brilliant essays on human nature, but I find Se7en to be a slightly more interesting film. It's just my opinion, but Se7en>The Shawshank Redemption.
Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for." I agree with the second part.
