ok so obviously in every movie it seems like the bad guys are horrible at shooting guns and that the hero's or good guys roles sure seem to have alot of luck when it comes to not getting shot..i was watching a bit of sahara last night (lol sigh) and there must have been over a million bullets fired at Matthew Mcconaughey's character without him actually dying which made me laugh quite a bit....was wondering if any ot movie buffs could think of other movies where it seems like the hero's get fired at repeatedly and seem to dodge it time after time.
this excludes heros with special powers (like batman/superman/hulk) but hero's like james bond would count since hes just a special agent with no true powers -

also, semi honorable mention to Maniac Cop since his super powers cannot be explained. he gets shot numerous times at point blank range and just doesn't seem phased. He is a true movie maniac -

What tilts me sometimes is how the villains sometimes have so many opportunities for killing the good guy but instead of finishing him off, they instead tell them their plans and then leave the good guy alone giving him opportunity to escap and foil said baddies plans.
I mean why didn't Prince Kamal Khan just have Gobinda kill James Bond? Why did Auric (lol) Goldfinger not have Oddjob strangle him? Or why didn't Dr. Kaufman "I am an excelent marksman, ja?" just shoot him when he had the opportunity? -
