moto droid hot spot

    For those of you with a Moto Droid... Have any of you
    successfully tethered/established internet for your laptop?

    I've tried blueooth and pdanet and can not seem to figure

    yes

    u need pda net app on the phone and pda net desktop application. and usb debugging clicked in phone settings. basically attacht the phone, open the app, click enable tether then click connect from the desktop app icon in the taskbar that will show if its running.

    been using it for months going way over data limits they suggest for tethering and they dont or cant find a way to charge extra or stop us

    i love how its "unlimited" but supposivly you cant go over 5 gigs.

    fuck them, i got wifi from rooting mine and i go on youtube iwth it alot, which uses a hell of a lot of bandwith. they can suck my dick if they think ill pay them if theyd try to charge me

    thats the thing when using the app they dont know where ur using the bandwith it looks like regular phone use which is covered in the unlimited plan...

    however if you pay 30$ a month to get the tehtering plan over verizon smartphones (not avail for droids) they cap u at 5gb

    its pretty much complete bs but yeah u can get away with this all day
