moved to portland, need friends lol

    just moved to the portland area, living in beaverton. Living with the girlfriend been here just over a week and realized that until I get a job and meet some new peeps I got zero people to hang w outside of my GF. dont really want to go all "I love you man" and ask someone on a man date but im your typical 24 year old OT'r, love sports, play poker, play golf and basketball decently, enjoy alcohol etc

    I know there are card rooms in the area so if anybody frequents them and wants to meet up and grind some poker, watch olympic hockey, play 9 holes whatever feel free to hit me up thru pm.

    Yes I am drunk and yes I feel like a chump posting this...flame away!

    ya man unfortunately but i needed a change of scenery. and consistent tail=way better than chasing it.

    but all my friends and family are back in slc so ill be back often.

    I was registered but not an active OTer at that time. that was my limbo stage post PD and pre OT when I never came to p5's.

    all the big games in salt lake I knew either got robbed or broken up by cops anyways lol. hope you never found any of those.

    Nice man, Portland is a cool city. I have lived in OR all my life. Was living in Portland about 6 months ago, but recently moved out to the Beach, Rockaway Beach.
    Spirit Mountian is about a hour and a half drive from Portland but they have some good games there, and tourneys too.

    it's tough to move to a new place and not know anyone, after the age of like 15 its not as easy to insert yourself into a group of friends, be glad you got your g/f

    job is an easy way to network, introduce yourself to your neighbors... i've never been to portland but that whole section of the country is home to some easy going friendly people from my experience
