I'm dead serious about this movie guy. I'm an asian dude and I've watched all the action movies there is out there. However, after watching this movie.....it is now one of my favorite (#1).
The title of this movie is: ONG-BAK: THE THAI WARRIOR.
U can go to movielink.com and watch it in there for only $4. ONE FUCKING GREAT MOVIE...it'll keep you on your toes the entire time...
Please tell me what you think after you've watched it!!
EDIT: check out this demo of his at the press conference: fuking amazing:

Well I thought one was coming out, but it might of just been Tony Jaa's newest movie Sword, that is in Production, that I read about.

That "edit: Wowswift" comment just comes out of nowhere, doesn't it. I missed something, but it's funny to see it

The scene where he is running from that gang, is the muts swingers.

agrees..one of my favorite action movies..when he fights that really quick dude, who pretty much could only move his feet real fast, was awesome.. the guy tries to run away and ongbak jump strafes next to him.. awesome scene.. lates..oh, i watched the movie in thai with no subs, which made some of the dialogue scenes hillarious (like when the bald head sidekick and the chick are argueing over that bag or something.....rofl)
-
the great thing is that in this movie and most of his upcoming movies....he will not be using any stunt double, wires, and EVEN computer effects....you can go to yahoo and check out some of the interview yourselves..This dude is sick man...hong kong big movie productions are wanting a piece of tony jaa..they want to work with him in the near future. He might work in a movie with jacky chan (drunken master 3) in the future.

^^^^^Agree! I saw info about this on the net and had to wait like six months for it to make it to a local theater (It played only at an independent art house he have here which owns).
There are spots where the story drags, but the overall effect of the movie is dazzling. Tony Ja reminds us what martial arts flicks used to be when Bruce Lee blew all our minds when his movies made it to the American Mainstream.
I like Jackie Chan (older stuff), I like Jet Li, but this guy is amazing. It is so refreshing to see a a martial arts movie without overdone special effects. The instant replays seem cheesy at first (they show the same shot over and over from different angles) but after the first couple stunts you find yourself wishing they would just keep showing it again and again!
I liked everything but the little motorbike chase scene-- it seemed like the obligatory chase scene and went on too long.
Ong Bak- Thai Warrior and Tony Ja = the nuts. -
