I haven't seen Dark Knight yet (I'm going to watch it when it's out on blu-ray), but I am guessing that it will be basically the ONLY superhero movie I will have liked so far, in my whole life, if I like it.

Usually any time I see a superhero/marvel type movie (fantastic four, hulk, batman, spiderman, x-men, ironman, etc) with my friends, I wish I could walk out (but I don't since I'm there with my friends). Superhero type movies and animated disney/pixar movies are generally the types of movies I hate the most. I can't stand them.
I've seen Ironman. I thought it was pretty awful. I gave it a 3/10 (which is actually considerably higher than I give most of these types of movies). I'm a fan of Jr, and a HUUUGE fan of Bridges, so that sorta worked for it to get it out of 2/10 land, but, it also made me rather nausious, to see Bridges being used in a role like that. It's sorta like watching a Ferrari being used to haul a tractor trailer full of baby diapers or something. It's just wrong.
As for disney/pixar crap... ...fuck that shit... I would rather catch my kid smoking meth than watching one of those pieces of garbage... yuck... -
Alpha Dog and The Pest. I may watch the pest again as it was a long time ago so don't flame me on that one.
Oh and Ironman, I probably watched 3/4 of it and I was like ok I get it and turned it off. -
Sweeney Todd and Chicago..... f musicals imo.
-
great soundtrack imo

On thanksgiving I walked out of twilight and hopped to the next theatre to watch 4 christmas's.

You'll probably end up being disappointed when you see The Dark Knight. I really liked it, but if you just hate comic book movies in general I don't see how you'd randomly like this one over any of the others. If you liked Batman Begins you'll really like this one, but if you didn't you'll probably dislike this one also. It's the same director so it has a similar feel to it.

That said, I have pretty much loved anything that Christopher Nolan has put out. He's a great director IMO. -

I can't believe people mentioned Chicago and Dreamgirls. Both are awesome.
I walked out of 300. Enough with the cutting off of heads.
I bought Broken Flowers on the cheap rack at Buybacks. I watched it, threw it away. Waste of $1.00.
I wanted to walk out of Wall-E. Enough with the preaching at me. There was nothing subtle in it's "green" message. -
i saw 300 in the IMAX - that was an awesome movie and totally disagree with you on this one

why, it is exactly what is happening to todays society......
There have been soooo many bad movies the last few year so I know I am forgetting most but a few off the top of my head; Cloverfield was just a joke, The Life and Times of Jesse James (with Brad Pitt) was so slow and never even attempted a story so turnedoff about 45mins in ( i think it was almost 3 hrs eeek), The Guardian not even sure why i even tried watching this, and all those musicals mentioned ( Dreamgirls, Chicago, Sweeny Todd, Hairspray) are pretty bad too......
all time worst movie ever ever started was Uli Lommels Black Dahlia -
Btw, does anyone have Brad Anderson's snailmail address? I seriously need to talk to him about the ending of Transsiberian. It's been several days, but I am not any less pissed off at him yet. I need to yell at that fucker for ruining a good movie. Grrrr... that fucker...

Glen gary glen ross, walked out of it at the dollar theater.

LOTR 1 and 2. Actually watched the 2nd one in the cinema and last thing i remember was a talking tree before i fell asleep. That's the only time ive ever fallen asleep at the movie, decided not to give the 3rd one a chance.
Godfather trilogy. Shit that movie is so slow, stretched out and full of bad acting, im glad it was borrowed not rented. I think it's a trendy american thing to like, as i have yet to meet a non-american who actually think it lives up to the hype.
no level -
Ali - I was expecting a Rocky type of movie not that...still havent seen the whole thing
-
The first 10-15 minutes of Tropic Thunder might be one of the most stupid/ridiculously unfunny opening sequences in the history of "comedy". I would rather slit my throat than watch this again.

Walked out of two movies.
The Talented MR. Ripley
