  1. Does anyone here have any advice on where to look for houses in areas around Las Vegas. Are there any areas that are outside the city, but still an easy drive to get to the strip? The only place anyone has given me is Henderson. Is that worth looking into and how close is it? Thanks in advance.

  2. Henderson is a BIG area. We live in Henderson and are about 15 minutes from the strip( we are closer to Boulder City). Summerlin,N.L.V. and Green Valley are nice areas. Depending what you want to spend on housing.

  3. a general rule of thumb:
stay west or south of the strip.

  5. I live in Anthem Country Club which is part of Henderson, pretty much anywhere your going to look is no more than a 15 min. drive from the strip. If you PM with some more details of what your looking for I can help you out.
  6. I live in the southwest area near The Silverton, just a few miles from the strip. I've been here for 2 years and haven't had any problems.
  7. Summerlin > Henderson

And still a ~15 drive to the strip. HENDERSON SUCKS SUMMERLIN RUUUUUUUUUUUUULES

  8. Sweet thanks guys this is exactly what I was looking for, really appreciate it. Didn't mean to get the apparent Summerlin-Henderson rivalry going though.
