Especially the Zelda and Mario series. One of the things I like to do to occupy my time now is try and figure some of them out by ear on the piano. So far I've figured out the dungeon theme from the original zelda, and the palace theme from Zelda II, both for original NES. If there are any other musicians out there in OT, let me know what you think.

Have you heard classic rock before? It's definitely better, not to take anything away from old nintendo which obviously owns pretty hard

Awesome vids. Well done on those two. I'll check out the rest on your channel if you have more. And agreed, for the nostalgia alone old video game music rocks.

Funny you should ask. I do the same thing with all Pink Floyd music, Led zeppelin, Eric Clapton, etc.. anything you want to hear?
-
I have a feeling you are not the first person to do this. I bet if you looked you could find the notes somewhere for all the classics

Castlevania's music is still embedded in my brain. It was bad ass.

I can hum the RBI Baseball theme song over and over again. Sometimes I find myself humming it.
Even the noises that it makes whne you get a hit, or a homerun, or the fireworks
