  3. My neighbors are in a band called "Taking Dawn". Just curious if anyone has heard of them or maybe seen them play. They've toured with Theory of a Deadman, Slash and Kiss. They gave me their debut album, not my kind of music but it's not to bad. I noticed they sell it at best buy as well. I think they are signed by Roadrunner label.

But about 1/3rd as good as Translating the Name.
  10. Kendrick Lamar's album is good, maybe really good imo. I think some of the reviews are a little overboard. Definitely worth a listen though.

Been listening to these a lot...

Yeah, I tend to think Kendrick Lamar is slightly overrated, but only because every critic seems to have a gushing eargasm over everything he does. Definitely extremely good/solid tho
  12. Haha yeah, Pitchfork gave it a 9.5, which is just craziness imo. Prolly their highest rating of the year or if not, definitely top 3 or 5.
  13. Funny that you were able to talk about Pitchfork and Kellykip wasn't summoned out of thin air to yell at you about being a hipster. Maybe you have to say it 3 times into a mirror or something. I hope he's okay.

  14. Pitchfork
    Pitchfork
    Pitchfork

Obviously there are legitimate grounds on which to hate Pitchfork, but ut;s by far one of the best sources for new music out there. The player thing on the side is invaluable.
