A) suspicious packages
B) G-had-spot
many others that had me loling -
Bunch of legal rationalization to justify something that is only affecting two percent of the people. I understand that there are a number of people that deviate from the norm, being that 98 percent of people are attracted to the opposite sex. And that the gays want to be able to do what ever they want whenever they want, with out a stigma being attached to it.
Behavior is not the same as race and reality is we are all of the same race...the human race. The acceptance of certain behaviors are determined by the society that they occur within. Obviously what our society as a whole is willing see as acceptable behavior has changed. So be it. The only question is where will common sense kick in and a line is drawn.
You know that there are pedophiles at this moment, probably professional, intelligent people, wondering what they can do to legitimize their behavior. After all that is another group who sees what they do as completely normal...for them. How long before a pedophile version of Barney Frank is on the hill pushing for little kids to have the right to consent...laugh if you wish or be sick to your stomach like me...but do not be surprised. On the other hand maybe this is as far as sexual deviates will go...I hope so.
After all 2 percent of the population (homosexuals) has changed the perspective of this country radically over the last 20 years....20 years ago no one would have believed what is going on now. And 20 years from now it will probably be worse , from my perspective, at the rate we are going.
I could care less what these people do..unless it directly impacts myself or my family. Just do not ask me do pretend it is normal behavior, because it is not even if they do get married...lol. -

My 1st reaction to the story of the Mosque near Ground Zero was incorrect. I was mad, appalled, and generally sick to my stomach over it happening. With time to reflect I have cooled considerably and realized that it is a good thing that our country is this free and open.
Reading the article in the OP made me realize how every problem has a real solution. I am really really hoping this happens. I would invest, if not for the fact that explaining to my wife why I was investing in a gay bar would be a huge pain in the ass (no pun intended). -
That long ass post needs a Not Sure If Serious pic

I'm pretty happy about this response, too. Our laws say this imam can build a mosque on private property that he buys, and he's chosen to do that at ground zero (even at the disgust of millions of Americans). We are incredibly tolerant. I wonder if he'll be as tolerant when a queer drunken jew takes a leak on the side of the "culture center" at 2 AM after leaving the bar, lol.
I personally don't see how he finds a contractor to do the work for this place, even in this economy, and I have questions about whether or not they even have the money, but if the Muslim culture center goes up, I'd donate to having a gay bar built next door. -
lol @ hypocrites ITT, all whiney and stoogey when some one wants to build a Mosque near ground zero but suddenly these champions of freedom emerge when some one wants to build a muslim-themed gay bar next door to this Mosque, good and true americans, I salute you all!
ya'll are so fond of saying, "love it or leave it"; take your own advice maybe and gtfo? or maybe just stfu.
"It's better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." -
thats exactly the point, Eyeknows....the Muslim Imam that is building this mosque at ground zero is doing it for all of the wrong reasons but he has a right to do it....he is using the very freedom and liberty that he despises to plant a victory flag on the very spot where his "heros" were most successful
this is the perfect response -
LOL could you sound like more of an ass? I have posted on this site more than a few times that it doesn't bother me at all that they are building this thing 2 blocks from ground zero. I have also stated that if we let them start telling us no on something like this were will it stop? Is it going to hurt some feelings? Sure it will but this whole gay bar thing was presented more as a joke and even if it wasn't who the fuck cares. If a certain group of people want others to be tolerant of them then they must do the same.

lol mad professor knows how to tilt the fuck out of me sometimes. Pretty positive he has used that picture in 500 threads along with the conservative straw picture. Loving the gay bar names

and did I even hint that the building of a muslim-themed gay bar wasn't OK with me? my only point was all the folks chuckling at and championing the idea of a muslim-themed gay bar were a lotta the same folks (hypocrites) that were freaking out and renting their clothes about a mosque near ground zero; people scream and cheer about freedom until they have to face what freedom really means and then all they want to do is tell folks what is right and wrong and how they should act - the exact opposite of freedom. -
renting their clothese?
anyways, thats pretty damn funny.
FWIW I think the mosque thing is fuckin ridiculous. Call me an Islamaphobe or whatever, but that is just serious bad taste. That dude can build his mosque anywhere he wants. But he shouldn;t want to build it there... -
Dpottz, you need to do your research. The whole reason this country was even founded was based on the fact that in England there was turmoil because there was NO freedom of religion. What's bullshit is any religion that condones the killing of innocent people. Muslims can hide behind the veil but the more people find out the truth about their religious texts, the more they will realize that this religion is founded on hatred.

O yea?!!!!

I hate hearing this line quoted purely for the ironic idiocy of it. You can't attempt to make a point and then spew this out at the end of some sort of retort. If anything it negates your own statement because you're not doing any better a job of not shutting the fuck up.
-
so wtf did I say that was wrong? all I did was point out the hypocrisy of those that SCREAMED at the thought of a mosque near ground zero and then later, those same folks cheering with glee, utterly ignorant of their contradiction; in what way is that hypocritical or foolish of me?

I guess I just don't get why so many folks hate freedom so much... -
