http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post...rodgers-is-mvp
As a pats fan I could argue that the article is right and that Brady deserves it. But I think it has to be Rodgers and its not even close. Who you got OTers? -
Rodgers ainec
-
has to be rodgers imo
-
Hard to argue against the QB of an undefeated team. That said, it sure seems like the Patriots would be neck-and-neck with the Colts in the Luck sweepstakes without Brady this year.

Pretty obv Peyton Manning should be MVP
-
I think it is Rodgers, but I am surprised that Brees isn't getting more love. Like Rodgers, his numbers are ridiculous.
-
there is no way it is anybody but Rodgers
-
Rodgers
-
ESPN.com posted a Boston homer article? No way!!!
-
if anything it's eli or rodgers.
but it's rodgers -
if gb loses a game bradys def got a shot... till then no contest.
-
you can't really say that. Look at when Brady went down in 08. Nobody thought Cassel was any good. He didn't even start in college for fucks sake. Granted, the team in 08 was much better than the team now. But they still have Belichick, so I doubt the guys would quit on him like the Colts are doing to that black guy that took over for Dungy.

You're just saying this because for the rest of time people will be comparing Brady and Manning in every possible facet, and you know it. -
discount double check
-
Ok saying Peyton was MVP was kinda sarcasm. The real answer is Rodgers. As far as differentiating Peyton/Brady, Brady has a coach who knows how to coach so him being injured wouldn't hurt as much.
-
Rodgers in a landslide
-
Should be Rodgers...that being said, I agree with an above poster - it's laughable that Brees isn't getting more thought.
-
I mean...maybe I'm just being a homer, but this article has a point. New England has one of the worst defenses in the league. The Patriots are winning and Brady is putting up monster numbers despite not having either a downfield receiving threat or a significant running attack. If the Packers lose a game or two and New England wins out, I would vote for Brady.

anybody think brandon jacobs will get any consideration?

4 LVP? -
The team in 08 was almost infinitely better than the team in 11. The team in 08 was basically the same as the 07 team, which was the best team of all time. In 11, we have undrafted rookies and Julian fucking Edelman playing defense, not to mention no Randy Moss or any other credible downfield threat.

This is literally meaningless...he was behind two guys who won the Heisman ffs.Originally Posted by Chrono

What? The Patriots minus Brady would be a bit better than the Colts minus Manning are because of the offensive line and because Brian Hoyer has been behind Brady for a while and is likely better than the QB carousel Indy has had...but this is not a winning team without a super-elite QB.Originally Posted by Chrono

who's defensive player of the year
Patrick Willis or Navarro Bowman? -
The Packers and Pats D aren't too far apart...both give up a shitload of yards, and both create a ton of turnovers. Rodgers has won games this year 42-34, 33-27, 45-38, 35-26, and 38-35. It's not like Green Bay is pitching shutouts and he's only having to score once to win.
