    I had a very long post worked out that I was going to give you for my birthday, it was mushy and all lovie dovie preachy etc and at the last minute I scrapped it. I just wanted to tell you all I am not here much anymore but I still love you (well most of you) anther birthday has come around that I was not really expecting to see, yet here it is. This group of people has meant a lot to me over the years and I wanted to tell you that has not changed.

    I had a pretty big heart attack in September I still have a blockage left (last one of 4) I will be 43 in an hour (EST) most of you know of the myriad of other issues I have. I just wanted to tell all of you to take care of your self and your hearts. I have been stabbed and hit by cars and beaten with chains and baseball bats, I never shed a tear, I cried like a little girl and scared my kids 1/2 to death so make MUPP rich and get to a Doctor ASAP I mean it oh yea and wrap it up I promise you can not tell what AIDS looks like I can also promise you you do not want it

    Thanks everyone when I say ya'll mean a lot to me I mean it from bottom of my now stinted heart

    lol I just re-read what I wrote I did not mean for it to sound like I was giving up in fact I feel some better than I have in years it was only a reminder that I am not very old not really over weight and I just had a major heart attack and I wanted you all to go to the doctor if you can

    This might sound really really dumb, but what symptoms(if any) did you have leading up to your heart attack. Working at a hospital, it seems like alot of people procrastinate getting to the ER because they wait for the pain to go away, or its a life-ending/threatning heart attack right away.

    Awesome that you got through it. A second chance is a blessing.

    Just read back through that and it seemed really condescending. Not what I was going for. I kinda wanted to open the conversation to heart attack safety. Just because you arent taken to the floor from the pain doesnt mean you arent having a heart attack.

    Did you have any symptoms leading up to the actual attack

    I had been having them for almost a year before the big one my chest would hurt then my left arm at elbow would go numb I thought I was having indegestion so I would take baby asprin and Prilosec Mrs Towman had here and after an hour it would go away I thought indegestion was weird because I can sit on top of a dead mule and eat then Sept 17 the Big one and it got worse and worse and did not go away then giggles said I was changing colors and crying (which she thought was weird they made me go to hospital I would not go in ambulance
