My family hates my girlfriend !

    I was dating a girl in my first years of high school, my parents didn't mind her although they were never fond of her as she she was young and immature, but who isn't at 14 ? Anyhow it lasted about a year until we split up, when we split up I was quite upset with her and went about saying a bunch of nonsense to my mother and friends about how she was this and that. A few months passed and we started speaking again, and always have ever since. She stayed a good friend, but, unfortunately always hated by my mother and sister whose idea of her was imprinted with the bad/false things i'd said in the past.

    After splitting up with my girlfriend of 2 years (one year ago), I started seeing the girl in question. Nothing serious came about it, pretty much just casual frequentation, although we found ourselves to always enjoy one anothers presence and phone calls etc. This lasted a few months and now have decided to make it official ! We really enjoy each other and are quite happy together, as all of our friends and SOME family members can see.

    The problem with all of this is that my mother and sister still hate her. I have tried to sit down with them and explain the situation and how I had said such and such things when I was younger and shouldn't have. They still won't budge, thinking that I am going back to something easy after my previous break up. This has gotten so bad that she is not aloud over to our home.

    Has anyone ever lived a simmilar situation and how did he/she deal with it ?

    Your gf needs to stay calm and not ttry to force them to like her. Its just going to take time. See if they would be willing to have a confrence with the two of you in a neutral location so you can talk things through. Do not keep bugging your mom about liking her or else it wont happen.

    So your mom and sister hate her because of the way she acted when she was 14? They need to chill the fuck out with first impressions. Are they also surprised that you can poop without the use of a diaper? Does your mom get wierded out when you drink milk from a glass and not her breast? wtf.

    I posted a big long story here about how you should listen to your family and that if they think she's a bitch, then she probably is. I gave an example of someone close to my family who couldn't take this advice and then was forced to eat humble pie years later and admit that his gf was indeed a horrible piece of shit. But I deleted cause I doubt you'll listen. But your mom and sister usually have your best interests at heart so if they think she's a bitch, then my guess is she's a bitch.

    Alright, so here it is. I have been playing against and watching a player over the last week. The player in question has a SILVER STAR status on sharkscope. I have seen him play all week in multiple tournaments.

    I have seen him go all in 73 times. Out of these 48 of them were more or less coin flips ranging from 45/55 to almost 50/50. Of these he has won every single one of the coin tosses. As well as the 25 others in which he was either favorite or an underdog.

    Isn't this odd ?
