So Im driving with my buddy today and he looks over and says "how many feet are in a yard?"
Obv I say... you cant be fucking serious. I made him guess and he said 2.
I thought this was common knowledge.
About 2 hrs later I see the 17 year old and I ask her... to my amazement, her answer was 12. I immed made her feel like a dumbass. 12 is the most absurd answer for the measurement of a yard if the person has ever watched a football game.
We are having people over tonight and I have to ask more people this question now. I still cant believe ive found 2 people that didnt know the answer. -

In New York, we have standardized tests that every student has to take so teachers work the entire year trying to get kids to learn certain things. i guess you couldnt pass 3rd grade in NY without knowing that.

depends how many people are standing in my yard. if its just one person, then he would be right, 2 feet.

It's the only question they ask, you can get partial credit for showing the work though.
