They can guarantee employment in the USA as they are guaranteeing employment in Iraq. I have never been to Iraq, but if I was a soldier there, in many ways life would be easier as long as the war is going on. You are secured employment. I have read that duing WWII was in many ways life was easier becasue the people knew what they were suppose to do.

So what would they do if they could not find a job in the private sector? Work on projects that would provide a long-term benefit to the people of the United States.

Why do people need the government to save them?

Promising the vets employment is responsibility. There are many people making money off the war. What I am saying is rather than dump money on the war, to assure their jobs, that they can come home and be assured of the employment. The country would save a bundle if they did this. Because we are spending far more on the war than this. Furthermore the money would be spent within the United States.

Yes, I am for a balanced budget, even doing this will cut the deficet. It will also add additional jobs and money in the economy because the money would be spent within the United States. Furthermore, unlike the Iraq war that provides no benefit, publics works and infrstructure projects would be built within the USA.

The main reason why gas and food prices are high is the result of paying the bills with deficet . It weakens the dollar, thus commodities cost more. That is why we are having all these trikes, everybody needs more money to pay for things, then everybody gets moved to a higher bracket and income rises. The increase income never meets the increased inflation. Homes were 100K and gas was $1.30 a gallon when Clinton left office.

I made a mistake regarding the illegals. They should be allowed to arrive by car, bus, or plane as thier choice. However, they must leave by the same means. Thus, if they fail to show up for the return trip the transportation could get a massive fine. The employers should not be forced to provide the transportation.

Same with housing. Although many employers provide housing for US workers to save trouble. When you go across country your employer usually pays the hotel room. Thus, employers should not be required to pay housing, but the jobs wage probably would have that worked in.

All the present illegals in this country should be sent home, however they could re-enter the US for less than six months a year. Peferably the system should be set-up to keep famialies in Mexico so they can go to school, unless they can pay for schooling in the USA which must be private.

Every bit of government spending is subjective. We have highly paid lawyers getting prisioners out of jail on the public dime. We have Blackwater, which should be bought out and made part of the military. It is not welfare they will be coming back to do useful work within the United States. Just with no fear or stress of finding a job. Basically you will have military-government job. Where there will never be an incentive to go to war to create a job for soldiers.

Thus, you might have Army Corp of Bridge workers, thus in peace they are working on bridges, then when war starts they go into the military. When the war is over they go back to bridges.
